Claudia Coleman is a professional artist working in the equine and dog portrait field. A native of North Carolina with education that included Norfolk Academy and The American School in Switzerland, she continues to combine her love of animals and riding. Her wit is added to the pot in all the Yo Yo Stories and her deft pen and brush make for dynamic illustrations. As she says, " As soon as you brag on your horse or your dog, they will make a liar out of you. That's what makes them so funny. Laughter was the middle name of everyone in the family. My Dad was king of the pun and you never won a literary battle. No matter what disaster happened, we always found the hidden humor and once we all laughed, the problem was fixed."

    She resides today in North Carolina with her horses and her Australian Terriers.
